Albert Sampaio is a teacher and researcher at the Institute of Engineering of Porto, Portugal, which is part of the Polytechnic Institute (ISEP/IPP), for more than 20 years. His teaching activity, research interests, and practice have been mainly in software engineering quality, both at the product and process levels, and empirical research methods in software engineering.
