This free workshop, hosted by Sandia National Labs, will discuss three technical questions related to current software capabilities, threats, and gaps.

  1. What are the technical impediments to an aspirational future state in which the nation has the capability to routinely analyze all relevant software, collecting evidence to execute missions with confidence?
  2. What is needed to support a revolution in the U.S. government’s (USG’s) software analysis capabilities?
  3. What are the key, near-term research and development funding priorities for USG research organizations to support software understanding?
