CSIAC is pleased to announce it is partnering with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) to offer to the federal government and their contractors the CTT course from June 27-29, 2023.
This virtual instructor-led training course introduces and applies the CTT mission-based cyber risk assessment methodology to help identify cyber vulnerabilities, determine mission impact and risk, propose mitigations, and inform other competencies, documents, and events across the U.S. Department of Defense’s acquisition life cycle. The course will establish an understanding of the threat and “thinking like an adversary”; demonstrate attack surface characterization; employ cross-competency personnel, including users, to identify and prioritize cyberattacks/vulnerabilities in a Red/Blue/White Team “wargame” mission scenario; and analyze data to report risk and mitigations to design and maintain cyber-survivable and operationally resilient systems. Learners will participate in exercises to reinforce and apply the CTT concepts and methodology. The case studies and scenarios will build up in complexity, culminating in a mini-CTT execution and CTT out-brief for a fictitious weapons system at the UNCLASSIFIED level. This course is also the first step in obtaining the certified CTT facilitator certificate from the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense Research and Engineering.
This training is completely FREE, with no charge to attend the course.
This cource is limited to the federal government and their contractors. Space is limited, with attendance capped at 50. Additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist.
