Dr. Alexia E. Schulz

Dr. Alexia E. Schulz is an assistant group leader in the Cyber-Physical Systems Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Her current focus is providing mission assurance and capability development for expeditionary cyber forces and operators at the tactical edge. Her research combines novel data collection and processing methodologies with algorithm development and data fusion to provide robust and actionable insights. Dr. Schulz served in the U.S. Air Force where she worked on non-lethal weapons technology in the AFRL Directed Energy Directorate, and also led a countermeasures program to assess vulnerabilities of the block III Global Positioning System. Dr. Schulz also held appointments in theoretical physics at both the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, and the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She earned a BA in physics at Boston University, and a PhD in physics from Harvard University.
